Summer 2021
I painted this piece during a summer heatwave! I have fond memories of skiing this slope located on the west side of Crested Butte. The sun momentarily hidden by the peak, the wind blowing snow of the rocky peak, the snow angels amongst the lone skier.
This piece is on display at the Buckle Wine tasting room in Gunnison, CO. They are close friends and they produce excellent tasting wines! I highly encourage folks to visit them and try the wine and check out my current exhibit there.
